Robert Pfarr

Inducted in 2006 for Modern Road & Track Competitor (1945-1975)


Born in Kenosha, WI. Pfarr started racing 1935 and won the Wisconsin Junior State Championship and was Wisconsin State Senior Champion for 20 years. He was a member of the 1951 Pan American Team and a member of the American Goodwill Team that raced in Japan in 1951.   Member of the 1959 Pan American Games with a Gold medal in the 4000M Team Pursuit. Member of the 1960 Olympic Team.  National Senior ABL of A Champion 1950. 1960 Caribbean Games Guiana Winner Mayor's Cup. Masters 55+ National USCF Track Champion in 1983 and 1984. Bob raced for 60 years and was co-founder of the Kenosha Wheelmen Club in 1945 and was their president for 40 years.
