FAQ's

Q: How is a Gran Fondo different from a Century ride?
A: The main difference between a Gran Fondo and a Century is a timing element and the level of support you will receive.  The U.S. Bicycling Hall of Fame will provide advanced support to the Legends Gran Fondo “pack”, including many race-like features.  This includes a Police rolling enclosure out of town, well-stocked Rest & Refuel Stops, course timing and medical/tech support.

A:
At press time, the Hall of Fame is working to bring many past inductees and other cycling VIPs to the event.  Stay tuned to the main Event page, for up to date information.  The event courses have been specifically designed to allow for as much contact as possible with Legend riders. Additionally, most Hall of Fame inductees and VIPs will be wearing special jerseys, which will make them easy to spot and interact with.
