Q: How is a Gran Fondo different from a Century ride?
A: The main difference between a Gran Fondo and a Century is a timing element and the level of support you will receive. The U.S. Bicycling Hall of Fame will provide advanced support to the Legends Gran Fondo “pack”, including many race-like features. This includes a Police rolling enclosure out of town, well-stocked Rest & Refuel Stops, course timing and medical/tech support.
Q: How do I register?
A: Online pre-registration is handled by Bazu Sports. Registration is limited to 1,000 riders.

Q: Which Hall of Fame Legends are likely to be at the ride? Will I get to interact with them?
A: At press time, the Hall of Fame is working to bring many past inductees and other cycling VIPs to the event. Stay tuned to the main Event page, for up to date information. The event courses have been specifically designed to allow for as much contact as possible with Legend riders. Additionally, most Hall of Fame inductees and VIPs will be wearing special jerseys, which will make them easy to spot and interact with.
Q: Is there a special entry fee for tandem riders?
A: No, each member of a tandem must pay a separate entry fee.
Q: May a minor child ride alone?
A: No, all minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times, and not be “dropped” during the ride. All riders must be 15 years of age or older.
Q: May I ride with headphones?
A: Headphones are not recommended during the ride.
Q: May I have my own sag wagon?
